I learned a thing or two about a thing or two and am sharing my thoughts with anyone who cares to read  [...] ]]></description><content:encoded><![CDATA[<div  class="paragraph editable-text" style=" text-align: left; "><font size="3">As this blog is called 'Beyond the 3rd Fret' I thought it only fitting to announce the inclusion of two new columns which will be of interest to all you guitar players out there. <br /><br /><span>The first is one written by yours truly called <a title="" href="http://www.littletobywalker.com/tips-for-guitarists.html">'Tips For Guitarists.' </a>I learned a thing or two about a thing or two and am sharing my thoughts with anyone who cares to read 'em. It'll be an ongoing column so 'tune' in from time to catch the latest.&nbsp; </span><br /><br /><span>The second one is a contribution from my friend Dennis Macpherson of Black Pearl Guitars. He's my luthier and go-to guy when it comes to maintaining and repairing my instruments. It's called <a title="" href="http://www.littletobywalker.com/luthiers-corner.html">'The Luthier's Corner' </a>and I think you pickers will get a lot of good helpful information </span>from there. Played to a packed, full house of 130 + people and had a fantastic time. 2 sets, standing ovations and an encore. The folks there couldn't have been nicer... sold a boatload of merchandise. But after a long drive it's time to hit the hay. I finished working up fingerpicking arrangements of 5 Hank Williams songs and should be in the studio shooting a new instructional DVD for Homespun at the end of February. This is going to be a fun one folks.
