Recording with Bob Margolin - High Point, NC
_(see the interview in Blues Wax)
In 2008 I was in the midst of recording a new CD called 'Toby Walker Plays Well With Others.' The whole idea of it was to get together with a bunch of musicians I loved and just let it all go... jam away on some songs that I wrote.
One of those musicians was Bob Margolin, an incredible electric blues guitarist. For several years Bob was Muddy Water's guitarist and together they recorded some of the best blues around.
So I called Bob up and asked him if he wanted to be on this album. He said sure, as long as I was willing to come over to his house in North Carolina. We could either do it in a studio or in his living room. Well, I was all for doing some live stuff in his home so that's just what we did.
