Band In Your Hand

Picture
Level 3

Turn your fingerpicking hand into a one man band. Add excitement to your playing by learning how to play both lead guitar and a steady bass simultaneously. Even if you’ve never played lead guitar before, this course will give you all the tools you’ll need to add expressive solos to your playing. You’ll learn over how to apply over 150 licks, across the entire fingerboard in two of the major blues keys - A and E. Using the CAGED system, you’ll also fully understand how to transpose those licks to other keys as well. Over 2 1/2 hours of video along with 43 pages of tab, PLUS two back up videos where I provide you a rhythm accompaniment so you can practice what you’ve been learning. What else will you learn? • Solo expressively ... the ‘Call and Response’ solo.• Using tonal differences to achieve different effects. • The B.B. King box.• The blues scale in 5 positions • adding ‘color notes’ to the blues scale. • The ‘Cheat’ bass note - very useful. • ‘Smoke and Mirrors’ - effective use of hammers, pulls and vibrato. • Alternate chords and Double Stops. •
