What happens when a song is in a minor key, or the song calls for something other than Blues or Country? Perhaps a sultry, Santana feel or a Jerry Garcia style groove? You can do all of this once you understand how the 'modes' work.
Most people, when they hear the word 'modes' as applied to their instruments, kinda freak out. Not to worry... I'll show you how simple they are to understand and how to apply them to your lead playing. Why would you want to learn these? Because you'll be amazed at how versatile your lead guitar playing will be once you have learned them.
