One of my first inspirations was Hot Tuna, specifically the fingerpicking of Jorma Kaukonen. In this series of lessons, I'll not only show you some of the traditional blues he played, but I'll also show you a whole bunch of licks and tricks I added to the songs which I know you'll enjoy!! You'll learn how to play the following songs: • Candy Man - a song originally done by Reverend Gary Davis, but with all kinds of cool twists. • Hesitation Blues - You'll learn bluesy licks and interesting ways of using chord inversions and diminished chords • Whining Boy Blues - a blues and jazz chord progression with some tasty licks thrown in. • How Long Blues and 99 Year Blues - you'll learn how to play these traditional songs in a liberating, fun way.
