Pre-war Regal Parlor Guitar

Pre-war Regal 0-size, 12-fret in ladder-braced solid birch with slotted headstock, rosewood board and bridge, bone nut and saddle, original tailpiece and f-hole design. Making this extra cool are the F holes on the front... pretty rare for a flat-top guitar. Steve Chipman did a great job of restoring this baby.

Picture
36 3/4" height
1 3/4" nut width
25" full scale
13" lower bout
9 1/4" upper bout
3/32" string height at 12th fret

V neck but not chunky

What it sounds like:

Improvised blues in E

Improvised blues in A

Original tuners work just fine.

The neck meets the body between the 11th and 12 frets, just like the National Resonators did of the same time period.
Picture
A fully compensated nut saddle and rosewood bridge has been installed
Picture
At one point there must have been a pickguard.
Picture
A small crack at the top of both of the F holes had been completely stable

These two cracks have been repaired and are stable

Comes with a period correct chipboard case.
