Martin OM-18 Custom made for the Mandolin Brothers Guitar Shop

Martin OM-18 Custom... directly from Stan at Mandolin Brothers. Only 5 of them made.... so far. Stan is ordering some more from the custom shop.
In early 2012 Martin didn't have any OM-18s! They wouldn't come out with one until the Authentic OM-18 a year later at a MUCH higher price. This is why it's a custom model. 14 fret OM size, Sitka spruce top, hog back and sides, 1 3/4" nut width, forward shifted scalloped 1/4" bracing, Gotoh open gear pewter colored tuners, 2 5/16" bridge spacing at saddle, Old style 18 soundhole rosette, pyramid ebony bridge, ebony fingerboard, old style black bordered Martin & Co. headplate logo, and the top is bordered in wooden light and dark lines. Finally the mahogany neck and tail blocks are topped off with a dovetail neck joint! If there were ever a guitar built to resemble guitars of that Golden Era this is one of them.
How does it sound? This guitar sings with the voice of the (acoustic) angels. It is refreshing, informative, redolent of 1930s instruments, replete with sonic complexity; it is crispy, clear and articulate, and as sweet as a Georgia impeachment.

On the top in the lower left bout there's a very small nick. I had to shoot up close in order to illustrate it. However, as you can see in the photo above it's not even noticeable.
