Teaching French high school students how to play the blues.
It just doesn't get any better than this. One of the venues during my recent tour of France was at a high school in Thouras. Myself and several other artists were given the task of teaching some French high school students how to play the blues. What a pleasure and blessing it was to spread the blues with the younger French generation. This picture was taken inside a sound studio within the high school.
Here I am with the students performing on a makeshift stage in the high school lobby. That singer had to sing the song in English and he did a remarkable job!! Check out that young drummer in the background. This was his FIRST time playing this style of music!!!
Here's what they sounded like!!!
Afterwards I got to play a bit for the students and teachers.
Here are some of the other amazing artists who also performed and taught the students that day. Every one of them were top shelf players.
